Vehicle Dataset License

Auto Reliability Intelligence provides its vehicle reliability pages and derived datasets for personal, informational, and internal research use. Access is free, but this does not grant ownership of the content or permission to republish it as a competing dataset or service.

Permitted use

You may view, quote limited excerpts from, and link to our pages with clear attribution to Auto Reliability Intelligence and the relevant page URL.

Restricted use

You may not bulk copy, scrape, resell, sublicense, or republish our enriched analyses, reliability scores, failure clusters, or compiled datasets without prior written permission. Automated access must not burden the service or bypass reasonable technical controls.

Source data and attribution

Underlying complaint information is derived from publicly available NHTSA records. NHTSA remains the source for those public records. Our derived scoring, clustering, summaries, presentation, and related editorial material remain subject to this license and our Terms of Service.

The datasets are provided for research and informational purposes only, without warranty of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. See the Automotive Data Disclaimer for important limitations.
